For families who are separated from loved ones by miles or other circumstances, there are new products this holiday season that will still allow them to connect with their family. Hallmark’s Recordable Cards with Music can serve as a great way for a grandparent to hear a grandchild’s voice, or vice versa. The sender simply records a voice message into the card, and when opened, the card will play the message, followed by a 30-second clip of pre-recorded music.

Also available is Hallmark’s first recordable Keepsake Ornament entitled “Sittin’ on Santa’s Lap.”

The Keepsake is photo holder, and a child can record a special voice message to be played and sent to family.

The kids have their yearly Hallmark ornaments and this year, Miss Kambry will need her "My Second Christmas" and Tucker will be getting his "My Fourth Christmas". I think these Keepsake Ornaments are the cutest things ever!

We have an "Our Family" ornament from right after Tucker was born in 2005. I really love the 2008 version and will have to get this for our tree this year since we are a full family now and in our new home.

I love the family ornaments that show dad, mom, son & daughter. So precious!

Peekbuster Gift Bags and Gift Bags with Light and Sound

This year, Hallmark is introducing a new way to “bust” those present-anxious little ones (and big ones too) through the new line of “Peekbuster” gift bags. The bags have a sensory detector that sets off an alarm of funny noises when someone tries to peek at their presents in the bag. The bags range in size, and include noises that sound like car alarms, and even one that features Santa Claus kindly, but firmly, telling the peeker to “step away from the bag.” Other gift bags include cleverly incorporated lights and sounds, accentuating the overall gift presentation.

I love the Hallmark adhesive gift wrap. We used it for Tucker's 3rd birthday party gifts and it was so nice not to have to use tape. It was a huge hit with everyone too!
