Protect Your Name

Just being careful isn't enough to prevent or detect identity theft, the fastest growing crime in the U.S. with over 9 million victims each year. I have been very careful about what we throw away and what we shred in our house. You can never be too safe when it comes to protecting your identity. I check in on my credit reports quite often to make sure that I am safe. If you have anything that has important numbers on it, be sure to shred those if you decide to throw them away.
