I have to share a new thing that I learned. Honestly, I cannot remember where I saw this at, but with all the mommy readers that I have out there, I have to post this on to you all!
My husband recently did a load of laundry (#1: Big no-no!) and he had an ink pen in his pocket (#2: Again... Big no-no!). Well, once I saw the ink stains all over our WHITE clothes, I was furious and in the mad stage of breaking down in to tears. My clothes had gone through an entire wash AND through the dryer - high heat. Nice. I was sad. Did I mention that I was sad?
I had read about milk getting ink out, but didn't believe it. I put out a large bowl and filled it with milk. Since most of the items that I really cared about were Kambry's small jumpers or sleepers and a blanket that I was ga-ga over, I immersed each item in the bowl of milk, let soak for about 30-45 minutes and when I took the item out of the milk, the stain was GONE! Shocked is an understatement of how I felt!
